First release of Sedendo Sul Trono Del Silenzio, an italian project based on a mixture of harsh noise and ambient, with occasional black metal influences and a very experimental vein, all in the name of an insane devotion for an artistic representation of death.
Some tracks were influences by some italian horror movies from the 70s and 80s, plus the absolute masterpiece "The Seventh Seal".
The monicker can be translated in english as Sitting On The Throne Of Silence.
"Venoma" is a mixture between the words Venom and Genoma, as if there's an envenomed, deadly virus inside these tracks.
"Rituali Di Rumore" can be simply translated as "Rituals Of Noise", that's a perfect evocation of the feelings who inspired these lo-fi and saturated compositions.
All the titles and lyrics are in italian language.

* A track previously avalilable in a different form on the split made with I Corpi Presentano Tracce Di Violenza Carnale (The Bodies Present Traces Of Carnal Violence) called "I Due Volti Della Morte" ("The Two Faces Of Death" in english) and realized in cooperation with the guys of I Corpi Presentano Tracce Di Violenza Carnale (the guys made the wall of noise I used in the background, now removed in the version you find here), released on Harsh Noise Movement digital label.
That Split EP featured also "E' Solo Perverso, Folle Sadismo - Infami Macchinari Di Morte".

Each one of these songs has been inspired by a specific movie or genre of movie:
- "Catacombe Dell' Essere" was inspired by "The Seventh Seal":
- "E' Solo Perverso, Folle Sadismo - Infami Macchinari Di Morte" was inspired by "Almost Human" ("Milano Odia; La Polizia Non Può Sparare" in Italy) the masterpiece of Umberto Lenzi and Tomas Milian;
- "Uno Strano Senso Di Malsana Inquietudine" was inspired by "La Maschera Della Morte Rossa" and some movies of Dario Argento ("Phenomena" especially) and Lucio Fulci;
- "Come Un Trapano Nel Cervello" was inspired by "Psycho" of Alfred Hitchcock;
. "Sangue Giovane Per Il Nostro Patto" was inspired by "La Chiesa" of Dario Argento;
- "Sprofondando Nel Mio Abisso" is a original composition inspired by a morbid fascination for the relation between memory and death, plus a slight influence of "Profondo Rosso", the masterpiece of Dario Argento.

"Venoma" is an instrumental album, except for the last track "Sprofondando Nel Mio Abisso": the lyrics for this one can be found in the 'lyrics' button available when you direct the cursor on the track.
